We are so proud to announce a new addition to our Fall Fiesta this year; Presenting our "Patriots Supporting Patriots Donation Drive". We have partnered with Hearts Apart.org to encourage our students' participation in this wonderful civic service. Our joint efforts help the families of our local military create care packages they can send to their deployed loved ones who are serving overseas and in war zones during the upcoming holidays. This program is being administered through the Airman & Family Readiness Center located at Hill Air Force Base.
Participation in the Hearts Apart Program is a way we can show our continued support of these military families who are our neighbors, friends, teachers and colleagues in the community.
It is especially important during these tough economic times, when so many of our military members are away from home, that the military families are reminded of the support in the community and the appreciation for the difficult job they do for all of us.The Hearts Apart Program needs our help in collecting many different items. HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
Option 1: Donation items can be delivered to the front office or brought to the Fall Fiesta ticket booth:
1 donation item = 1 peso ticket
2 donation items = 2 peso tickets
3 or more donation items = 2 peso tickets + a ticket for each student in your family to use on Friday, September 16th for the “Ticket Only Casual Dress Day”. ONLY STUDENTS WITH A TICKET WILL BE ABLE TO DRESS CASUALLY ON THAT DAY.
Option 2: The donation drive will continue through September 15th. You can still donate 3 or more items to receive tickets for your students to participate in the “Ticket Only Casual Dress Day” on Friday, September 16th.
There is no limit to the number of items you are allowed to donate.
