2011 Fall Fiesta - THIS FRIDAY! Peso & Concession Pricing

Here is the information for this year's Concessions and Games for the Fall Fiesta THIS FRIDAY, September 9th from 4pm to 8pm!

See you there - remember to invite all your friends and family to come enjoy all the great activities and food too!

Pesos will be available at the Fall Fiesta, but to receive your bonus tickets please turn in your Peso Pre-Order by the end of school on Wednesday, Sept. 7th to the front office. **UPDATE**  We decided to extend the Peso Pre-Order through the end of school on Thursday! GET A 10% BONUS ON YOUR PESO ORDER JUST BY BEING AHEAD OF THE GAME, PRE-ORDERING AND AVOIDING THE TICKET LINE AT FALL FIESTA! All Peso Pre-Orders will be available for pick-up at Will Call at the Fiesta.  See you there!

NEW FOR 2011 - Patriots Supporting Patriots with the Hearts Apart Program

We are so proud to announce a new addition to our Fall Fiesta this year; Presenting our "Patriots Supporting Patriots Donation Drive". We have partnered with Hearts Apart.org to encourage our students' participation in this wonderful civic service. 

Our joint efforts help the families of our local military create care packages they can send to their deployed loved ones who are serving overseas and in war zones during the upcoming holidays. This program is being administered through the Airman & Family Readiness Center located at Hill Air Force Base.

Participation in the Hearts Apart Program is a way we can show our continued support of these military families who are our neighbors, friends, teachers and colleagues in the community.

It is especially important during these tough economic times, when so many of our military members are away from home, that the military families are reminded of the support in the community and the appreciation for the difficult job they do for all of us.

The Hearts Apart Program needs our help in collecting many different items. CLICK HERE FOR A PRINTABLE COMPLETE LIST OF DONATION ITEMS!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

Option 1: Donation items can be delivered to the front office or brought to the Fall Fiesta ticket booth:

1 donation item = 1 peso ticket

2 donation items = 2 peso tickets

3 or more donation items = 2 peso tickets + a ticket for each student in your family to use on Friday, September 16th for the “Ticket Only Casual Dress Day”. ONLY STUDENTS WITH A TICKET WILL BE ABLE TO DRESS CASUALLY ON THAT DAY.

Option 2: The donation drive will continue through September 15th. You can still donate 3 or more items to receive tickets for your students to participate in the “Ticket Only Casual Dress Day” on Friday, September 16th. 

There is no limit to the number of items you are allowed to donate.

5K Corporate Sponsor Deadline is Sept. 6, 2011

September 6th is the LAST DAY for your company to sign up to be a Corporate Sponsor at Wasatch Peak Academy's 3rd Annual Fall Fiesta 5K Fun Run being held at the school on Saturday, September 17, 2011!

Silent Auction Donation List - 2011

You can find a current list of the items that are confirmed up for grabs at this year's Fall Fiesta Silent Auction being held this Friday, September 9th.

The Fall Fiesta Silent Auction opens along with the Fall Fiesta activities, games and food at 4:00 pm and items up for bidding will be displayed inside the gym and will be grouped according to type for easier shopping.  The list is a PDF so you can print it and plan ahead for what you would like to bid on.

Volunteers Needed - Signing Up Doesn't Get Easier Than This!

You may have noticed our new Volunteer link in the sidebar over there. We are lucky this year to have a fantastic and easy spreadsheet that shows all the many volunteer opportunities you can sign up for to help out with the activities and concessions at this year's Fall Fiesta (Sept 9th) and 5K (Sept 17th).

There are still many positions that need to be filled, so please take a look at the spreadsheet and see where you could sign up to help out.

We can't make all the fantastic games, activities and fun work for our school and our kids without your help!

We appreciate your family's willingness to help out, and please remember that anyone from your family (aunts, uncles, grandparents, as well as parents, time counts toward your family's yearly volunteer time. This is a great way to get your hours started off at the beginning of the year!
